“To make a prairie it takes a clover and one bee,
One clover, and a bee.” —Emily Dickinson

Flutter is a strategic tile-laying strategy game for 2 to 5 players, ages 8 and up, and it takes about 30 minutes to play. Players take turns laying tiles of varying shapes, earning petal tokens for matching flower petals in each corner. As the game progresses, players will spend those petal tokens when they enclose a previously laid tile, supplying the tile’s pollinator with all the flowers it needs, earning pollen. Once a single stack of tiles in the supply rondel has been emptied, the player with most pollen is the winner!

* Strategic tile laying, with unique geometric shapes.
* Novel use of a rondel in a tile laying game.
* Eco-friendly: All paper and wood components, in all versions of Flutter, are made using 100% FSC-compliant (Forest Stewardship Council) materials.

  1. I think my kids would love the story about Travis – The Traveling Bear : I had pen pals when I was younger. And since I came from a lower income family we had never been on a vacation- I had a pen pal who traveled all over and she would send me postcards! I loved learning about the world through her travels. This reminds me of that.

  2. I love all these great book ideas! There is a nice variety and something for every child. The Lodge Travel Set is wonderful for unending imaginative play and the case makes it perfect for taking along anywhere. I like that there is also a fun outdoor toy in the Aqua Blocks to keep kids busy, thinking, and having fun outdoors on hot days. Great list overall!

  3. I’m so happy to be a part of this event. Learned a lot from the most influential people and brightest minds within the community as well as countless opportunities for networking, code sprints, and informal conversations.

  4. Great suggestions
