Our kids are finishing up another year of school. So…now what? Before the daily monotony has a chance to set in, my family thought we’d come up with a little Summer Bucket List to keep the summer blues and “I’m bored” attitudes at bay. These are a few of the ideas we came up with for our summer fun. Of course, our list will be constantly expanding, and hopefully yours will too! Use our ideas to get you started! (And you you might also want to check out this list: 10 Outdoor Spring Activities for Families).
Our family’s Summer Bucket List:
– Take a boat trip
– Make root beer floats
– Watch a ball game together
– Have a cook out
– Blow bubbles in the yard
– Enjoy a sunset
– Enjoy a sunrise
– Build a fort
– Have a trampoline sleepover
– Make a campfire (and roast marshmallows, of course!)
– Go to a drive-in movie
– Watch a parade
– Sleep in (YESSS!)
– Go to a Farmer’s Market
– Ride bikes
– Read a new book
– Hiking trip
– Roller skate around the neighborhood or at a roller rink
– Listen to an interesting podcast
