Our Distinguished Panel Of Judges
The Mom’s Choice Awards® (MCA) recognizes excellence in family-friendly media, products and services. An esteemed panel of judges includes education, media and other experts as well as parents, grandparents, children, librarians, performing artists, producers, medical and business professionals, authors, scientists and others. A sampling of our panel members includes: Dr. Twila C. Liggett, ten-time Emmy-winner, professor and founder of PBS's Reading Rainbow; Julie Aigner-Clark, creator of Baby Einstein and The Safe Side Project; Jodee Blanco, New York Times best-selling author; LeAnn Thieman, motivational speaker and coauthor of seven Chicken Soup For The Soul books; Priscilla Dunston, creator of the Dunstan Baby Language; and Patricia Rossi, etiquette expert and host of NBC's Manners Minute.
Our judges are important contributors in our overall mission of helping families
and educators navigate the vast array of products and services and make informed decisions.
Evaluation Process
We are committed to providing reliable unbiased evaluation free from any manufacturer/publisher association. Parents, educators, librarians and retailers
rely on our evaluations when selecting quality materials and products for children and families.
The MCA evaluation process uses a propriety methodology in which entries are scored on a number of elements including production quality, design, educational value, entertainment value, originality, appeal and cost.

Volunteer your time and enjoy the opportunity to contribute to the growth and development of authors, inventors, companies, and others who are striving to
create quality family-friendly media products and services.
Serving as a judge is an excellent way to gain additional positive media exposure
for you and your company or organization.
Selected judges will be asked to review entries over a period of 4-12 weeks. Once the evaluations are complete, judges may donate the products reviewed to a school, library or charity of their choice.
To be considered:
1) Review the Code of Ethics
2) Review the Content Classification Standards
3) Complete the online application.
We will acknowledge receipt of your application.
