Award Seals & Certificates
When can I expect to receive my complimentary awards certificate and seals?
All complimentary awards certificates and seals were shipped on or before April 17th. If you have not received them, please contact Customer Service at 757.410.9409 – Option 3 or send us an email.
I ordered silver seals and they are backordered. What date can I expect them?
All backordered seals were shipped on or before April 17th. If you have not received them, please contact Customer Service at 757.410.9409 – Option 3 or send us an email.
My silver seals look slightly different from the image in the image pack. Why?
We recently depleted the silver seal inventory and reordered with a new, slightly updated image. If you’d like a digital version of the new image and have previously purchased the MCA Image Pack, please email Customer Service your request. They will send you a complimentary digital file for your use. The Mom’s Choice Image Use Policy still applies.

How do I sign up for updates and announcements?
Go to the MCA homepage and click the “Stay Informed!” icon. You’ll be directed to a signup page.
How do I unsubscribe from an email list?
Most emails from the MCA will contain an “unsubscribe” option in the footer. Simply click it to unsubscribe. If there is no “unsubscribe” option in the footer, simply reply to the email and put “UNSUBSCRIBE” in the subject line. You will receive an email confirming your request.

How do I correct errors or make changes to my product listing on the MCA Celebrate page?
Email your corrections/changes to us. We generally make corrections/changes the same business day, and we will send you an email confirming the correction/change has been made.

Email your corrections/changes to us. We generally make corrections/changes the same business day, and we will send you an email confirming the correction has been made.
How do I update the content and product image in the MCA Webstore?
The MCA Webstore is powered by Amazon.com. All content and images are provided by Amazon. Please make product updates by logging into your Amazon Advantage account. It can take up to 5-6 business days for Amazon to post your updates.
Product Reviews: Amazon, BN & Others

Email us the link to the correct product page at Amazon or BN. We’ll post the review and email you a confirmation.
The MCA review is not showing up on my product page.
For Amazon, reviews generally appear the same day they are posted. BN reviews can take 5-6 business days. If after that time, the review still isn’t showing up, please email us the link to the product page and we’ll repost.
Will the MCA post reviews for my product on other sites?
If we are not required to create an account in order to post a review, we’re happy to oblige. Email us a link to the product page with a request that we post a review. We’ll email you a confirmation once the review is posted.
BookExpo (BEA)
What is BookExpo and how does it get exposure for my award-winning title?
Book Expo America is the largest annual book event in the United States. The event brings together booksellers, retailers, librarians, educators, rights and international professionals, and publisher and industry professionals. Approximately 30,000 book industry professionals are expected to attend this year. The convention generates enormous press coverage putting many publishers and their books on TV screens and in the pages of many leading newspapers and magazines: C-Span, 60 Minutes, Access Hollywood, Associated Press, Reuters, Bloomberg and others.
Will I need to schedule an appointment for my interview at BEA?
Filmed interviews will be conducted on Friday, May 30th in the MCA booth #5430. Please contact Robin Eldredge to reserve your timeslot: 757.410.9409 X709 or send her an email. The official deadline for scheduling = April 25th, however you may want to check to see if a slot is still open to if you can be added to the wait-list.
Yes, you will need to register and purchase a badge. You can register directly with BEA, or if you’re a member of PMA (Publisher’s Marketing Association), two great programs are available to you: 1) Badges are available for $55 when you register via Publisher’s University or 2) If you are a displaying author at the PMA cooperative booth, you
can apply for a FREE badge through that program.
If you’re NOT a member of PMA, we strongly encourage you to consider joining. It’s a great organization dedicated to advancing the professional interests of independent publishers. To this end, PMA provides cooperative marketing programs, education and advocacy within the publishing industry. A special discounted membership fee of $100 is available for a limited time. How do I make travel arrangements for BEA?

Will the MCA take my book/product to BEA?
The offer for the Mom’s Choice Awards Showcase 2008 has closed. If you took advantage of this offer, your title will be part of a prominent display in a high-traffic location. Your item will be displayed face out alongside other MCA award-winning titles. Professionally designed signage will clearly identify the section as the Mom’s Choice Awards Showcase. This beautiful, easy-to-browse exhibit allows booksellers, agents, scouts and publishing professionals to touch, feel and see your product. Plus! Your product will be featured in a searchable database that is active until October 2008, and in printed show catalogue that is distributed at BEA.

Are there autographing opportunities at BEA?
The MCA Autographing Offer 2008 has closed. If you took advantage of this offer, please be sure to schedule your timeslot by contacting Robin Eldredge at 757.410.9409 X709 or send her an email. Autographing sessions will be held on Sunday, 6/1 at the MCA booth #5430. We will provide signage, table and chair. Please note the following: 1) BEA does not allow books to be sold during the show. They consider this a promotional opportunity to the trade; 2) You will need to make your own arrangements for getting your books to the show; and 3) You may be sharing the booth with another author – no more than two authors at a time will be featured, and we will do our best not to schedule two authors in the same genre for the same timeslot.
