1)  Who is Greg Mortenson?

Greg Mortenson is one of the greatest humanitarians of our time. He is a Nobel Peace Prize candidate and the co-founder of Central Asia Institute and Pennies For Peace. 2)  How are the event proceeds distributed?

Net proceeds (revenues after expenses) benefit Central Asia Institute (CAI). Central Asia Institute, co-founded by Mr. Mortenson, is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization with the mission to promote and support community-based education, especially for girls, in remote regions of Pakistan and Afghanistan. 3)  What is Pennies For Peace?

Pennies for Peace is a CAI program designed to teach children the rewards of sharing and working together to bring hope and educational opportunities to children in Pakistan and Afghanistan. A penny in the United States is virtually worthless, but in Pakistan and Afghanistan a penny buys a pencil and opens the door to literacy. Learn more about Pennies For Peace >>>

4)  What happens to my ticket if I am unable to attend?

Since ticket sales are non-returnable / non-refundable, your ticket essentially becomes a donation to the cause. Tickets are transferrable, so if you know in advance that you won't be able to attend, you might consider "gifting" your ticket to someone else.
